Im very sorry to have to say that my solicitor has just informed me that  VERCA are not now going ahead with this development afterall despite all the lies, promises, etc. Its completely finished, OVER. This purchase has been a nightmare, a rip-off by con artists, also the Estate Agents were aware of such difficulties beforehand and failed to inform us. I am unable to get any of my money back, even with my Bank Guarantee, its pointless. I am begining to think that all of the buyers may have to stage a protest outside of their office in Vera, if needs be. We were fooled by this builder and he is refusing to refund deposits to anyone, what kind of a mess did I get myself involved in. I am aware that some people have had their monies back, but only 3 or 4 people out of at least 40 couples in total. We will have to start a united group and protest everday if we have too. Everybody its the only way. Otherwise there will be very costly court cases, and even when we win the builder is entitled to appeal again and again in succession - In plain english its hopeless. So come now lets start our PROTEST. the development is OVER

Get your solicitor to put an embargo (I think its called) on their bank account, or put a charge on their properties they have already got built , not quite sure how long this process would take or how it actually works but worth a try , If the bank accounts are frozen they won't like it and would soon pay up. I read something along these lines on another web site www.spanishpropertyinsight.co.uk
Anything is worth a try to get your money back
Wish you luck.

You can start an action group to minimise legal costs. Your situation is fully unacceptable. Of course the freezing of assets and bank accounts are a good measure and any prompt action is advisable just in case the developer enter into bankruptcy.

Please let us know if you need further advice,

Best regards,

Apparently all problems are sorted and the development is not over.  Dominique is about to upload phots of the construction work on the website. The address is... www.mycm.es
