Does anyone know the Spanish law as to the position when you have paid monies to a company in order to purchase off plan and then 5 years later you learn that only half youre deposit funds reached the developer and have not been kept in a holding account and you have no property
Also the legal aspect as to when you are completing and the developer wants to charge you backdated community charges and his mortgage payments for the delay even though this is no fault of yours
Our solicitor was happy for us to go along with this and in fact told me to be wise! and we feel surely this is incorrect if not illegal
We would be grateful if you could comment on this Maria as we have decided to complete rather than sue OVP but we are getting nowwhere and feel our lawyer is also incorrect in asking us to negotiate with the builder on this last issue
