Dear All
I am an owner at the Mirabella and have just returned from a weekend at the appartment. The weather was great (considering what we left in the UK). Complex still looks good but losing Juan will be an issue as we now have no direct point of contact with Parquesol.
We have one of the appartments that had a trellis across the lounge window as opposed to a Juliet balcony, on arrival this time it had gone, on ringing Parquesol they could give me no advice as to what had happened. I suspect it had blown down in th bad weather and been removed for safety purposes, but despite ringing Parquesol they could not tell me.
We, as everyone else are very disappointed about the Hotel or lack of it!!
I think as this was a major selling point to owners, Parquesol have some responsibility to keep us informed as to what is happening, it would seem to me that they have more chance of gatrhering information than any of the owners. The surrounding area is getting progressively worse with abandoned cars, rubbish and dead bushes.
I know it is winter but I made the observation in the summer that the gardens around the complex are looking extremely worn, due I suspect to not being watered sufficiently, the grass around the pool is dying and becoming overgrown with weeds. All the hand rails and steps need staining, the rendering on a number of appartments is begining to crack, probably due to settlement but will need attention when the appartments are exterrnally painted.
Whilst as owners we have undoudtedly a responsibility to look after our own properties there are only certain things we can do without the permission of the community. I would encourage anyone who reads this note to email Parquesol and seek information on the hotel and also ask for plenty of notice for the next community meeting as we need as many people there as possible to add weight to our voices.
Best wishes to all apologies for the rant but I feel really strongly about protecting our investment for the future
Garry
