I read your blog and like most of us on NM am appalled by the Town Hall's attitude.  Is there anything we can do as a community to support you in this and force their hand for some action? Well done for tackling them and keep at it!!!

Does this mean there will be no mains electricity as well?

And water?

Don't worry, we're not going to let it rest!  We're going to put all our issues in writing and follow it up every week...but it looks like it's going to be one heck of a challenge.

Electricity is in the hands of Sevillana, we have to wait for them to pull their finger out and swich us over the the main board...but they won't tell us when this will be!

Water....it's also all in place but this one is a money thing so it will take a bit longer.

We did find out that our garage doors are actually illegal as they open outwards.  That's why we don't have the licence for the garages so it's really up to Promobarna to get them changed.

I have a meeting with Promobarna on Monday morning to discuss this and other issues so I'll let you know what the outcome is.

Interesting news about the gaage doors.  Whist EUR.200 isn't a huge amount to pay, it does rankle that the builder should get away with this.

Good luck with your meeting with the developers.  I think they should pay to have the garage doors altered. Hopefully your persisitence will pay off in these matters and we may even have mains electricity one day............

I've just read your article on your first three months as community president.  Scary stuff!  If the town hall isn't fulfilling its statutory duties is it not possible to go the regional government or member of parliament for assistance?

Hi Mr President, thanks for the grand job you are doing. Have you seen Manilvalife lately? Janette Mitchell has posted a message to you, she wants to help.

I saw the post from Janette Mitchell but I know for a fact that she has no power in the town hall.  She's just a front.

We have another meeting next week so we'll decide after that what the plan of action will be....
