Anyone know why I should have been told it takes 8 to 10 weeks for the bank guarantee to come through after paying the deposit?

I am also still waiting for guarrantees, have agent  and solicitor on job but no progress, Polaris aretoo busy selling to do any customer care. Wonder what they would do if second payment was withheld until guarrantees provided - problem is the contract makes no mention of guarrantees thats just sales talk

Just to complete the story, bank guarrantees do exist and I have at last received one for money paid tp polarisWorld in autumn 2005. Have now paid second stage payment and will begin to press for guarrantees for this money, I guess I might get them before the building is complete in 2008/9

Hello,  my second stage payment due in July, emailed yesterday to say that I wanted Bank Guarantee before I paid next installment, had email reply in 24hours to say NOT to pay installment until bank guarantee recieved.  Bank behind with issuing them as there are so many to get through.

I have been told that bank guaranttes are given out from the bank in multiples of 50 so it can take some time before they issue them to Polaris
