Car Hire Scam?

We are in block 4 , so delighted to speak to neighbours. We have been told that the title deeds should be signed by July at the latest so fingers crossed we will be able to holiday there this summer.

 

As we said before we are going over in a couple of weeks so will report back.

Hi there

Merrymex here and not very happy.

They have completely blocked us in as they are digging trenches for water etc,our house is on the main road just down from the developement, we have a 4 foot trench outside and another one being dug later today,our neighbours have the same problems also and we have taken photo's to show the town hall tomorrow,I rang rushcliffe and complained and give her her due,Catherine has been trying to help,Gustavo ,the site manager is apparently going to sort access for us today,so,we will see!!

The site look's like it is taking shape quite quickly now,with lot's of activity going on,although the rain hasnt helped.

Hello Merrymex here again

Well ,to my surprise ,Rushcliffe have been fair, as in they have helped to get access to and from our drive,still got the digger outside the front gates but hey ho!!

Anyway,I was speaking to the offfice today and they say all the main work should be finished within the month and then its just the cosmetic stuff to finish,gardens etc.

Just thought I,d let you all know,so, shouldn't be too long now.

Will be coming over very soon to grill Steven and Co...and try and get a confirmed date.....Im not really to sure how long it takes to get a final linence of

completion??????..but im still convinced it will be july. will let you all know if im knocking myhead,,( sorry just wanted to use this smiley )..

Someone else in Block 4 

Our lawyers have also been in touch and have said estimated June/July, though i have heard getting the licence of First Occupation can take a few months, but will keep fingers crossed, will be heading back from China for a couple of weeks in August and am hoping that i can stay in the apartment instead of in Scotland for one of the weeks!!

Looking forward to seeing pictures from anyone who is out there in the next while, and big thanks Merrymex for the updates on how it is looking, i am sure you will be very pleased when the building work etc is all over, i'm sure it has been a pain over the last couple of years for you and all the neighbours to the development.  I guess we all owe you a beer or two when we get there!!

Hi everyone

Things seem to have slowed down for some reason,the plants were delivered last week and the garden's seem to have been planted with thing's,but,there are external tiles and huge refuge tanks still sitting outside the developement,also,this morning there was no activity at all,so,don't know what's going on.
The road outside is still a big mess,I actually fell last week and cut my arm,was not a happy bunny!!
If I find anything else out,I'll let you know.

Hi there

Don't worry about it Michelle,It's the developer's fault or the town hall's for not addressing the road problem's that we have,at least there is light at the end of the tunnel!!!
I'll keep an eye out and give updates when I can,I'm such a sad billie at times eh!
