Does any one knows someone who is squatting his own property?

This seems crazy, but we are deseperate to squat a property we have paid into 47000 euros since 2003 and we cannot own as the crupulous developer vanished from the face of the earth without going bankrupt.
the problem is that we are a couple who are afraid to start the squatting process in our so called dream home as we ignore the corrupted spanish law and the enforcement (police, guardia, court etc) unless if we get encouragement that someone knows people who are doing the same, we woul like to know. pls help

Have you thought about how you are going to pay for water / electricity etc and of course getting connected in the 1st instance? One assumes that to be evicted from a property, the developer(owner) of the property has to instigate proceedings against you to have you evicted. Again, one assumes that this is your rational for squatting in the 1st instance and by doing so, tempt the rat out of the woodwork who has done you this disservice. I wish you luck and perhaps Maria can give you advice on the subject. Look her up on this forum and pm her.
