I can't tell you about Moneycorp, but it would be worth comparing it with Exchange4Free, as long as you are transfering over 750 sterling, there is no charge, ( that goes for the receiving Bank as well, in my case) and the more you transfer the higher the rate, they are fast and give good rates, I have never had a problem with them.

As you are probably aware we have had a relationship with Moneycorp for over 4 years (see our Moneyorp website) now and we are very pleased with how good they have been with our members.  To be totally honest with you, we've never received a single complaint from anyone who has used them.

We have a very personal relationship with the guys there and they are a great bunch of people and very professional.

Justin

I got good rates and recommend Moneycorp.

Give MoneyCorp a rest why don't ya? Every bloody newsletter, every opportunity do you mention MoneyCorp. Of course you are entitled to make a few pounds commission for the referral but there ARE OTHER REPUTABLE MONEY EXCHANGE companies.

If you are allowed to advertise then it's fair that we EOS members can too.

And EOS - it's not just your site / newsletters - others use the same agressive marketinging / articles /link building - I say that if MoenyCorp can afford to pay and push so many affiliations then there rates must reflect it.

... like anything SHOP AROUND !

Seeing as the thread was specifically started to discuss Moneycorp I don't see what the problem is.  This is an open forum and ANYONE can give their opinion.  With the recent news of certain FX companies going into administration it's obvious that people are concerned about which company to use.

And by the way, if you don't like my newsletters there is always the link at the end of each one which allows you stop receiving them.  I'm not forcing you to use the website or read the newsletter, you are choosing to do that yourself.  So please get off my case.

Justin

Quick reply there Justin... just as I expected to defend your stance! But a quick reply means you haven't thought it through or read my complaint properly.

I don't think I am on your case...  "So please get off my case."

I love your info and data - your ideas are great, the site has some brilliant advice and don't mind the odd advert - but you are ramming the affiliates/adverts down our throats a bit lately, it's hardly subtle is? - pop-ups, interrupts, intertisials, links, advertorials !!

Opinions are great - that's what a forum is for... and don't have a problem with your retort. Keep up the great work!

Pop ups??  I hope not!  I did try pop ups many years ago but haven't used them for as long as I can remember.  I hated them...and so did everyone else.

I recommend very few companies, and  I have sometimes got it wrong, so I am very careful these days.  I tend to only recommend people I know so that I can have a go at them if they screw up.  We all get it wrong sometimes.

I'll try and keep the promos to a minimum

Justin

I find Xe.com to be fast, efficient and pretty painless. Rates are god and there are now NO CHARGES if you make an electronic payment.

I use Moneycorp & I find them good. I don't get charged for sending or receiving money but you have to enquire before sending money to your bank, eg barclays charge a fee if the amount is over 50K for  receiving money from Moneycorp who used to absorb the fee but not anymore.

Have used Money-corp for a few years now with no problems at all and very helpful. I am transferring money this week and have got a better quote from Currencies Direct but decided to stick with Money-corp for half a cent better the devil you know.
