Endesa Power |Limiters--Marbella
The Comments |
does anyone have any experience with the new (from 2008) law that requires households to install a power limiter from Endesa. Apparently there is a form to complete and arrangements need to be made with Endesa. Is there a long waiting list and in the meantime, can endesa cut off your supply if you exceed the contracted amount of electricity?
I know some of these questions have been asked about Iberdrola but I would like some specifics about Endesa here in Marbella.
thanks

Dont think they will cut you off but any consumption over a prescribed limit is charged at a supplementary rate.
I suppose at a push they could argue that your installation doesnt meet current (sic) regulations and use that as an excuse but given that they could derive extra money from you via the excess usage charge I would think it unlikely.
The power limiter itself is cheap and if Endesa do the installation I think they have a fixed price which again is pretty cheap.
Dont forget as of Jan 1st electricity charges are going up by 9.8%; thsis isnt just Endesa but all supply companies.
