im going to be seeing family and friends in spain soon going to be getting a spanish sim card whilst there how do i find out the number without calling someone on it ?

You will be given the number when you purchase the sim card, you will also have to register the card to an address otherwise it maybe cut off. If you purchase an orange sim card you can purchase an international phone card for 5 euros which gives you over an hour of calls to international landlines, its a much cheaper way than pay as you go !! Other companies may also have a similar service.
