Hi
I have been a member of the Forum for a while, though I usually just post on the SADM thread. SADM is a new development near Jumilla, Murcia, which is renowned for its wine, as well as being a beautiful part of the country, surrounded by mountains. As John and I both enjoy red wine, I am not sure which factor influenced us the most in our decision to buy there! We will be using our home for holidays once it is completed (contract date is January 2008, but it will be later than that by all accounts), and then when John retires in May 2009 we will be selling up and moving there permanently. Can't wait!
I have found an enormous amount of helpful information on EOS, and can spend hours reading the latest posts, so thanks to all the regulars for keeping me entertained and informed (when I should be doing housework or other work!) Keep up the good work, Justin and others!
Sue

Hi Suemac,
Can't say welcome to EOS, as you are an "old timer"!
It's a great forum isn't it?
i reckon the red wine is the real reason you bought in that area
I only drink white, that's why we bought in Costa Blanca!!!
We are John & Sue too, must be some connection with vino!

Hi Fibby (Sue?)
Yes, it's a great forum, but if I'm not careful I will spend all day on it! Whereabouts in Surrey do you live? You may be closer to us over here than you will be when we are all in Spain.
Good names and good wine, I reckon!
Justin, glad that you like Jumilla wine. It's strange but since we first went there we keep coming across Jumilla wine all over the place. Our local Sainsbury's sells Roblemar from Bodegas Bleda; one of the restaurants in Wimbledon has Casa de la Ermita on its list; and we even found a cheap bottle of Jumilla wine in Carrefour in Lille! I'm not sure whether it is increasing in popularity or whether we notice it more now that we know the name. When we were staying in Jumilla we noticed Bodegas Bleda was at the corner of the street where our hotel was situated!
