  Hi All.

I am looking to rent my property on a long tem  basis which is near  San Roque in the next week or so

Can anyone help or know where I can get a tennancy agreement contract   from or how much it will cost.

Be nice to have the contract in english if possible.

Look forward to your response.

Thanks

 Vista:

Be careful and revise the contract as depending on wording, the tenant may have a right to contract extensions for 5 years.

You can find information for rentals here:http://www.eyeonspain.com/spain-magazine/community-horizontal-6.aspx

As a golden advise: submitt the contract to arbitration rather than Courts.

With this care, the renatls needs to be problems free.

Cheers,

Maria

You would be advised to use a reputable agent or Lawyer, as getting the contract right is very important to avoid problems in the future. Unfortunately, I speak from experience and I rented to a trusted friend who eventually lived in the property for 3 years not paying rent, electricity or water ....... well that's a long story. I would reccommend Marbella Solicitors as they have offices all along the coast and there's one in Sabinillas, Manilva not far from you. The meetings are free and you don't have to pay until they actually do some work for you, so you've got nothing to lose. they've got a com web page and you can contact them through there. You can  buy contract in the Estanco, but they are in Spanish and really are old fashioned and do not protect the owner. so I wouldn't advise that option.
