There’s no shortage of them. As a ghost-writer this is my cup of tea and believe me there’s some amazing stories out there. The life experiences of some people who you wouldn’t normally consider out of the ordinary are quite extraordinary.
Because of the cosmopolitan nature of the Costas the region has perhaps a richer assortment of writers than anywhere else on earth. Interestingly they are not predominantly English.
This past 12 months one of each: German, Dutch, Fijian (Indian); an Irishman, a Swiss father and son. Two are English authors and perhaps surprisingly just one of these is a woman. I have another soon to be started upon. A lady whose family were close friends of America’s Kennedy family. In and out of each others homes.
Interesting tit-bit: I am researching Jeffrey Archer for a book review (latest out this week) I discover that his books are ghost-written. Who would have thought it? Mind you, many famous writers provide the idea only. I forget his name but there’s one famous author still producing new books. He has been dead for years. As the saying goes; truth is stranger than fiction.
