Transfer to another bank

we are currently with bankinter and want to move to another bank about 10 min walk from our apartment, what do we need to transfer to another bank.

It depends on what you want to change..... mortgage? direct payments? current account?

I would just open the new account first without saying anything to your existing bank.
Work out the finer details later when the new account is open, Spanish banks don't operate a free switching service like some do in the uk.
