Help please
Sol bank are driving me mad ! My step father died just over a year ago (in th eUK and we have a UK death cert) and my mother now lives to the UK and used the Spanish home for holidays.
At the time we oponed a new account in my mothers name only and transfered her ballance, direct debits and standing orders to the new one leveing the old joint account with a zero ballance, this was suggested by the bank.
The bank have recently paid two direct debits out of the old account and of course chared my mother for the privelage, long story.......
Basically we have a flight out this week to speak to the manger face to face as they seam unable to resove this matter over the phone. When we are there my mother wants to close the old joint account so :-
Can anyone let me know what paperwork we will need to take with us, as we all know the Spanish love paperwork and I am sure they will want something that I dont have !
