This is a letter (my translation) about inceased charges imposed by the Junta de Andalucia.on all water suppliers in Andalucia.
No need to panic, just yet, the new law increased my 58€ bill by 2.40€

Dear neighbour:
I write to tell you about Law 9/2010 approved by the Junta de Andalusia which is going to bring about a considerable increase in the water supply charge. We consider this an unjust measure. The Popular Party voted against it in the Parliament of Andalusia but it was approved as a result of PSOE and IU supporting it.
The Junta de Andalusia has forced us to incorporate a fixed charge of 1€ per month in the invoices. In addition a variable quota, which is in three sections, according to consumption: 0.10 €/m3; 0.20 €/m3s and 0.60 €/m3. These imposed amounts, although invoiced by Gestagua are paid to the Junta de Andalusia.
These amounts will very possibly increase as the Junta de Andalusia increases the charges progressively each year.
We are sincerely sorry, but our Town Hall is not responsible for the increase in the cost of water, which has been forced on us by the Law which applies to all Andalusia.
