Hoops for students going to Salamanca
The Comments |
Hi,
New Guy here. I need info on the hoops we need to jump through. My wife is registered at Salamanca U. Classes start Oct 3rd.
What is the situation with Visas? Do we both need one or just her? Can we go through the process after we get there or do we need to do it before we leave the US?

You are cutting it rather fine, withnot much more than a month to go!
The admissions office at the university would surely have provided you with all information on formalities. I would suggest you contact the Spanish Consulate in the area where you live in the U.S., and if there is none close to you then contact the consulate in Washington. They will advise you on visa requirements. I all likelihood and provided you have the necessary letters and confirmation of admission to the university you would be able to secure a student visa.
