A BIG THANK YOU!

I am (hopefully) about to become a first time buyer - of anything, anywhere! And as you can imagine the hoops I will have to go through are numerous.

To get me started Maria has kindly answered some of my worries.

It is refreshing to know that there are people still out there who are willing to give others a hand and not bite it!

I 'may' start a blog on how it all goes. But for now I am just getting my head around what lies ahead. (Especially as it now turns out ours is not going to be a straighforward purchase.  Not to spill the beans, but everything from the property not being registered to current owner, to I don't know what!)

But I guess if something is worth having (and you have a good lawyer to take care of the pitfalls), then it is worth the effort :)

Good luck with it all! Glad you have found helpful people to map out the way.....we have found far more good than bad and after 11 years you should have a pretty good feel for it (we are exactly 50% of your time here so you're probably twice as good as us at it!). Hope it all comes through and enjoy it when it does :)
