Oil-fired community boilers
The Comments |
We have been told by our new Administration Co. that oil-fired boilers are now illegal in Spain and must be replaced with some other form of water heating - EXPENSIVE! - and we must each purchase and pay for installation, (by their appointed plumber) through them. Is this correct and if so can anyone quote the law or legislation which reflects this please?

I am not familiar with that particular change in the law myself but I would certainly get the administrator to prove it to you and the president of your community.
In terms of the installation, normally the president and the administrator should work together to get different quotes to do the job, it's up to the administrator how this is done.
You really need to talk to the president about that...unless he's the local plumber being recommended by the administrator
