Cajasol BIC

 Hi

I want to send a small amount of money to a Cajasol bank account. The BIC I was given is CECA ES MM 071. However, I am not able to send the funds because my bank does not accept the BIC. I've spend an hour with customer service which tried everything to sort out the problem but to no avail. Has someone a solution for me ? Has the Bic changed? I was repeatedly assured by the account holder that the BIC I was given is correct.

According to the Cajasol website the BIC Code is CECAESMM106.

 Thanks. This may be a stupid question but does that BIC apply for all Cajasol branches?

I believe so.

It is inclusion of the IBAN (The 24 digits that start with ES + 22 numbers)  that then distinguishes which branch & account number the funds are to be allocated to.

 Many thanks. Literally one minute ago I've got an e-mail from the recipient once again confirming the 071 BIC, after checking with the bank.

My bank does not want to know. I see what I can do with the 106 ending. Your help is much appreciated. Noreen.
