Are any of the windows broken on the cars? I have heard (from a Spanish person) that the police will only respond if there is a broken window. Not sure how true this is?

The only time ive seen the local police here in San Pedro taking an interest is if the wheels are flat and the car is buried under dust!

We have had two abandoned cars at different times here.
Each time they were reported to the police, checks were made by them and some two weeks later, BINGO, they were taken away!!
No broken windows, just a look of general abandonment.

A phone call to the local police should suffice (not the 112 number!!) let them know where the car is parked and they normally pass by to have a look, they then stick a sticker on the windshield and if the car is still there after a period of time it gets towed.

Just phone 662554761 with the registration number and location and we'll see if we can help get it off the streets.
