New Smartphone- please help!!!
The Comments |
I recently bought a smartphone (Samsung Galaxy Y). I transferred my HITs SIM card with all my phone numbers on it to the new phone but... I cannot find out how to access them.
I've looked in the Samsung online manuel, but cannot find out from there what to do.
If anyone can help, I'd be so grateful. Don't assume I know anything, just give me numbered points of things to do!
Thank you so much.
Donna

Hi Donna
I don't use a Samsung Galaxy myself but I assume there must be a "Contacts" icon??
If there is and it's empty, it means your previous phone was storing the contacts on the phone and not on the SIM card. If that is the case you need to put the SIM back in the old phone and somewhere in settings there is usually a feature that lets you copy all contacts to your SIM.
Does that help?

It might do, Justin, but I don't think so as all my numbers were on the SIM, not on the old phone.
Thank you, anyway.

Go to contacts. Press the left button. Select "more" then Display Options. You can pick Phone, SIM and or Google contacts to display.
Hope this helps
