Medievil Market in Orihuela
The Comments |
There is a medieval market starting tonight until the night of Sunday the 5th of Feb night in Orihuela City. This market has a lot of music and street theatre which is a lot of fun for the whole family. There are a lot of tame animals, jugglers, fire eaters etc. It is open all day long but the night time is the best time to visit.

We went to the medieval last year and by sheer luck we actually found a parking space!!! As we were leaving one driver said they had been driving around for an hour, as he backed into my space.
Very enjoyable, with all sorts of sweetmeats and goodies to try and buy.

we went last night, extremely good although quite cold. Just be aware that food and drink prices are high. 2 small beers and 3 sangrias 24 euros.

You can park in the Ociopia carpark and walk to the town hall area. Ive not been able to make it yet as my wife is Spanish and thinks that we are suffering from artic conditions and should not be outside untill June......I will escape somehow.

It has just been agreed by the town council that Costazul will provide bus services to the Medieval Market in Orihuela from the coastal section of the municipality.

you have to reserve your seat first. and unfortunately you are now too late. We took 70 of our neighbours but booked the buses well in advance.
