Nueva Ribera Beach Club

Hi.

I purchased a property at Nueva Ribera Beach club some 6 years ago. As you may be aware, there have been problems in getting completion on the properties at this site and despite the fact we have bank guarantees etc., everything has ground to a halt. We have a solicitor based in Spain working on this but nothing seems to be happening........surely there are others caught up in the same predicament? Is there a forum or a group set up to try to get things moving? Does anyone know if there is light at the end of the tunnel?

If you no longer wish to wait for the very much delayed completion then instruct your lawyer to execute your Bank Guarantee and obtain a full refund of your deposit.

I have  apartment in Nueva Ribera Beach Club but lucky or not for me it is in phase1 and we have been able to use ours. The word out at the moment is that the bank has sold phase 2 and that they are to be released after Christmas. I hope that this is true as it would be great to get the place tidied up as it looks bad with all the emply apartments. We will not get what we paid for but i love it there so close to the beach and the new beach bar is great.
