Opportunity to teach ENGLISH in Spain for 6 months (TEFL).
The successful person will have an opportunity to teach in a small town in the Seville Province of southern Spain from early January to late June 2013.
BRITIA is a new language school in Ecija Spain, it offers course in English to all levels and ages of students ( 4 to 60), including offering A2, B1 and B2 examination courses for those wanting qualifications in English for use abroad or for work. As part of the BRITIA School, a sub school has been opened in Lantejuela, a town 30 kilometres to the south west; it is here that the opportunity has arisen for a native English teacher.
The successful candidate will work with a bi-lingual Spanish person to deliver a quality education to those attending the school.
Working about 8 hours a day Monday to Friday, (with a break for lunch) the successful person will deliver lessons from a predetermined syllabus, using industry standard books and aids.
Pay will be 1200 euro PCM plus Social Security Payment to the Spanish Government if required.
Timescales:
Closing date for Applications – Sunday 25th November 2012
SKYPE interviews during the period 3rd to 9th December 2012
Face to Face interviews for short list candidates (either UK or Spain) early December (TBC)
Job offer – week 17th December.
Starting date 8 January 2013.
Minimum qualifications required:
TEFL /TESOL approved course attendance / Certification.
Native English speaker.
GCSE or Higher passes in English Language or Literature grade ‘B’ or above.
You will need a Spanish NIE number (obtainable from the Police in Spain)
Experience in teaching preferred.
