Another success for Costa Luz Lawyers

We would like to say a HUGE thank you to Maria and the team at Costa Luz Lawyers for their help over the last year which has helped us to secure a partial dation with the UCI for our mortgage in Spain.

There very stressful and worrying times as we could not afford to pay the mortgage but we felt assured by having Maria there to answer any queries and speak to the bank in Spain and debt collection agencies in UK. I don't think we would have got through the last year without knowing we had her support and guidance.

I would highly recommend anyone struggling with mortgage payments on their property in Spain to contact Maria for advice.

Its always hard when you have overstretched finacialy and there seem to be no way out.

Would you mind explaining what a partial Dation is?

Does this mean you still owe money even though you handed the keys back?

It is always nice to hear of a happy ending for those caught up in property disputes/mortgage worries that cause hell in the lives of many. Hope you eventually smile again and no more worries come your way.

It's a shame I didn't "have a Maria" in the UK...we need good honest solicitors like her here. I haven't met an honest one yet in the UK.

Can anyone shed light on the Dation Partial?

From google it seems that you hand back whatever property it is as part settlement for the debt but you still have to pay off the rest of the debt.

Is this correct?

Yes Mungry: that is what is called a dación parcial
