El Ejército del Aire - Spanish Equivalent to Red Arrows
The Comments |
When we were last in Spain we were fortunate to be at the Mar Menor when El Ejército del Aire were practicing. It provided us with a wonderful cabaret over lunch!
Anyway, I'm trying to find out whether they have a schedule for practices as my son will be over from 25th - 31st July and would love to be able to tell him what day/s to be there to see it for himself.
If anyone has any information, I'd be most grateful.
Thanks
Irene

Hi Milli
Thanks for that information. Can you be a little more specific - every morning at roughly what time? The practice only lasts for about half an hour or so and I really do want my grandson to be able to see this!!!
Many thanks

Hi Irene
Have been googling ever since seeing your question - still haven't come up with an answer unfortunately . I,ve got as far as finding out that the aerobatic team are called Patrulla Aguila (Eagle Patrol) & they have their own website www.patrullaaguila.com . Have seen them practising over the Mar Menor many times - fab free airshow!! Will keep looking.

They seem to be up all morning, from about 8am til around 1pm when we were there. Maybe we hit a busy time for them.
