The advice I have been getting is, it does not matter because most of the businesses in Mijas are not licenced anyway!
I wonder if its worth taking the risk and what the penalties may be?

lots of these people that complain they cant get their fincas and villas licenced so they can sell them and escape their nightmare did this.
the agents said `nobody worrys about building permits` `they just sort it later`
and people were crazy enough to belive this.
if you go ahead without your licence i expect a post from you in a few months or a few years asking how to sort your horredous mess out from your rediculous stupidity.
