Good hardware store in Valencia
The Comments |
Does Valencia have the equivalent of a B&Q hardware store? I'm moving into a new build and there are lots of jobs to do (lights, shower screens, etc, etc, etc).
Everytime I show up at the apartment the handiman gives me a smile like he thinks I'm paying for his next vacation (dream on!).

We don't own in Valencia but you could google Brico Depot (French DIY stores all over Spain) also Leroy Merlin to see which ones are close to your place.

Xetog is right
I live in Valencia and your best options are Leroy Merlin and Brico Depot.
Leroy Merlin is all over Valencia : Pista de Ademuz, Centro Comercial Osito and CC Ademuz
There is also one in C.C MN4 - Alfafar / C.C Bonaire - Aldaia
Brico Depot is also on the Pista de Ademuz on the way to LLiria at the height of San Antonio. It is slightly cheaper and more orientated to freelance builders than simple amatuer DIY but there are often very good offers and on the whole it is slightly cheaper. However you will find a greater selection in Leroy merlin. Depending on what you are looking for I would would take a look at both. If you go to the Pista de Ademuz they are just 5 minutes apart by car.
