I pad 2 query
The Comments |
On my yahoo mail on the laptop ,if I delete an email it goes to trash where I can retrieve it for a time, if I had deleted it mistakenly.
On the Ipad 2 you can only press the trash symbol, and it is gone forever. Is there anything I can do so that it is like the laptop, as I have accidentally deleted some emails?

Don't know if it is different on newer iPads but if you go into mailboxes then in accounts select your account the trash is there. Regards paul

What I meant was, there is a delete button on the laptop which then sends the emails to trash where they are held for a time before finally deleting them. Ipad doesn't have a delete button only a trash symbol which, if pressed permanently deletes them. Is there no way to set the same arrangement the laptop has? If I go into mailboxes on I Pad 2, there are no emails stored in the trash box.If I go on the laptop after I have deleted an email on ipad, it is not not in the trash there.

If I delete an email it is in my trash. I used an ipad4 though.
EDITED TO ASK: WHY is this in the restaurant reviews forum?

They should go into a mailbox marked trash or deleted messages on iPad 2 I think. That's what mine does anyway. Goes into the same one as my mainframe at home.

Whoops! My friend recommended me here yesterday and I figured I'd jump on and give it a whirl. Will check dates next time. My doddering old brain should be able to keep up!
