Speeding ticket
The Comments |
Hi all, Last night I received a letter, and within the envolpe there was a speeding fine to the value of €100. However, there is a photo attached which clearly shows our registration number plate on a motorhome, sadly we dont own a motorhome and the number plate is currently attached to our 2000 model Honda Civic Aerodeck which is sitting outside my home covered in dust as it has not moved since the 1st of June, this ticket is dated 9th August when the offending motorist tripped a stationary speed camera in the North of Spain. Does anyone know where we go from here and can give us some advice regarding this matter please. With regards , a slightly dis gruntled Steve.

I would go to my insurance company and let them deal with it, Linea Dircect say if you get a speeding fine let them know and they will deal with it. Worth a try with your insurance company. Brian

Hi Steve.
Or you could try a denuncia (crime report) to the police for the area where you live i.e. National police or Guardia Civil (not Policia Local), saying that someone unlawfully using your reg number.
