Changes to IHT in Murcia?

Apparently there have been changes to regional allowances for IHT in Murcia

Maria- do you know anything about this?

Same old, same old!

Yes, there were changes in November 2014 for the following situations:

- Acquisition of individual company, professional practise or company shares

- Acquisition of cash for investment on individual company, professional practise or company shares

- Acquisition of agricultural businesses 

I had hoped that there was some move to reinstate the regional allowances for IHT!

How can the government of Murcia be allowed to put its residents at such a severe disadvantage in comparison to the generous allowances in other regions?

Is there no one in the region standing up for its  residents, taking action, discussing with the president etc?

how can this situation be allowed to carry on?

anyone with even moderate assets who lives in Murcia has the fear of the consequences of a oartner dying here hanging over them

as if the grief of bereavement wasn't bad enough, they then have to face the possibility of paying thousands out, when, just over the border another bereaved spouse wit a similar inheritance is paying nothing!

Couldn't agree more! Surely someone with some clout can lobby on our behalf!

I thought changes were being made, as at present this situation is very unfair to residents of Murcia
