Where to study Spanish and work part-time?
The Comments |
Hello, I'm new here! I'm an American looking to come to Spain to study Spanish and work part-time. Can anyone recommend a low price, quality Spanish school with a work placement option? Is the job market in Spain that bad? Do you think I could find permement employment after I learn Spanish (I have an MBA with a marketing concentration)? Thanks!

Sorry to say but yes, the job situation is really that bad. As an American you would need a visa for Spain and also a work permit, which may be difficult. Unless you have a particular reason for coming to Spain, why not study Spanish in the US then perfect it with an extended holiday in Spain once you can afford it? I believe that US citizens can spend up to 3 months in Spain (with a visa).
Hopefully, others may have an answer as to where to study if you do decide to come. Good luck!
