Age Concern Espana has an info line:    902003838 it is there for the over 50's based anywhere in Spain and the Balearic Islands, there is also an email address at: info@ageconcern-espana.org

The organisation helps those in need, were possible, and also is a good source of information for the over 50's in Spain.

Are there any children's homes in Costa Blanca? We hear loads about animal charities (don't get me wrong, I love animals)  but would be really interested to learn more about childen's charities.

Does anybody know how you go about setting up a charity shop in Spain? I've seen a Cancer Research somewhere, but does anybody here have any experience of trying to do this? Our town could do with one!

You need to do it under the legal form of " Asociación" ( organisation):

I would volunteer my help with setting up a Charity Shop. Are you in the Estepona area? I live in the Manilva area. I would love to do one for a childrens charity.
