If a Community President does not live full time in the community can he claim travelling expenses e.g. flights etc from his home country to attend meetings etc.

If the president doesn't live in Spain, how can he reasonably expect to carry out the role?
Ridiculous! The answer, IMHO, is no.

To me the very suggestion is scandalous - I wouldn't even want anyone who posed the question as President.

the president is also a member of the community being a property owner and NOT an employee of the community so claiming flights would not be correct and may have tax implications for the president as it could be deemed as income or benefits in kind
I would think the ultimate decision would be for the community owners to vote on it but that would set a very dangerous precedent as other owners may wish to claim the same to attend meetings etc.
