Has anyone had problems completing form 210? I have completed it successfully for previous years, but this year when I tried to do it using 2014 catastral value it wouldn't let me do it. The only way I could complete it was by using the catastral value for 2013. This means that I have underpaid by 8 euros. Anyone else have problems, or know what's going on?

Yesterday I completed 4, 210 ('second homes' tax) returns for my son and his wife, no problems. I have not yet paid them at my bank though.

I completed and printed 2 x form 210 a couple of weeks ago and successfully paid them at the bank yesterday. I have had problems in previous years but more relating to what hardware/software I was using.
I would be surprised if the system would know the difference between one year and another years c. value. We used to use a lawyer to complete our forms and his figures never agreed with the c.value . Ours was reduced in 2014 resulting in a little less tax to pay this time.

Just checking is it back to 24% from 24.75% in 2012 & 2013?
Kind Regards

Yes it is 24% for the 2014 return. I think if you were to show anything else it might come up as an error, when you authenticate the form.
In passing, I seem to remember that previously the form automatically printed out three sets (of 3 sheets) this time I got just the one set (3 sheets plus the 2 information sheets which I never print). Is this what others found?

Yes I got 1 set of 3 sheets + info sheets. However, as I could find nothing to say the tax rate has reverted back to 24% I have calculated ours at 24.75% and obviously the form accepted it. Can't believe I may have overpaid the tax office :(

Crackers, you will be pleased to know that you haven't overpaid, as the rate of tax payable for 2014 is 24.75%. I think Johnzx may have underpaid if he used 24% for 2014.

As always Kathyslad is correct.
. I mis-read the info, I believe the 24% rate will apply to the 210 tax for 2015, to be paid in 2016
PS I had have not actually paid-in the 4 forms I have completed.

Nuetral has kindly confirmed this for me.
I paste it here as it may be useful for other EU citizens.
Thank you Nuetral
2015 return, for payment in 2016, is 19.5%
and for 2016 return, payment in 2017, it's 19%

johnzx, does the tax rate of 19.5% apply throughout Spain, my property is in the Granada region?
I have difficulties with the new Form 210 from section 19 onwards. I am not sure where the 1.1% of Cadastral value and the 19.5% tax rate should be shown. Has anyone got an example form showing where the various information should be shown on sections 19 to 31?
I assume the bar code stickers used on previous forms are now outdated and no longer used?

Hi I have been very Lazy as we are only in Spain 12 weeks approx per year. I need to know if I can fill in,or have a Gestoria do it for the past 4 years!!!!!!!! ( Our house was reg in Sept 2009. Would I have to go back that 7 years....).Frightened of the amount of fine too ..... I alway thought it was a straight 0.02% of value did it change to 0.03% When I saw 20% well, you can imagine. ANY help welcome. Im going to move this weekend, just enough so people dont think ive died lol

L181. You are looking at 20% (now 19.5%) of 1.1% of the catastral value
However with your apparent lack of knowledge, I would suggest you use a gestor or a similar professional.
You may find that 'forgetting' the years you have not paid might be recommended, thus possibly avoiding substantial fines which might be imposed.

Just to clarify it's only 1.1% if the cadastral has been revalued in the last 10 years, otherwise it is 2%.
With regard to previous years the statute of limitations is 4 years from the day following the end of the voluntary period. So it's currently back to 2011.
