christmas weather

Hello  can anyone tell me the best and warmest  place to go to at xmas,is it the islands or main land spain

and a place that has the hotels open. Never been away for xmas, and it would be nice  not to have to cook xmas dinner

The Canaries are very popular all year round and should be warmer than mainland Spain at Christmas. That's not to say that they will be though. We have spent many Christmases abroad over the years, mostly Spain or Florida.You usually get some very good days and others not so. If I had to choose I would probably go to Gran Canaria as I like the island and it's not so windy as say Lanzarote. Tenerife would be another good choice.

(after saying all that we will be going to the Caribbean this year!)

Make sure you book a all inclusive hotel ...as most of the bars/restaurants will be closed for the winter especially in the tourist areas.enjoy your holiday.

Yes I have to say Barbados is the best option from my experience!   

Definately consider all inclusive for the reasons windtalker says.
