Fuerteventura bank account

I'm planning on going to fuerteventura soon . I've read on google 

some things are contradicting. 

Just wondering if anyone has opened a Bank account recently and 

how did the process go. I've got a nie number 

do I just take a photo copy or do I Take the original. I've got a scanned copy 

on my email is that good enough? 

Also what uk 🇬🇧 I D will they want? If any as my nie number will provide them with my details 

surely? . Need a bank account to hopefully purchase a property. 

NIE and your passport. They have to scan your passport into your records and make sure you take it in to be scanned when it's been renewed as the number changes. 

Would take the original certificate in for the first time just to be on the safe side.

Ask the bank.
