Low level crime and regulation
The Comments |
Should low level crime be decriminalise and regulation abandoned. What is the point of having any of it if no one is prepared to enforce it?

No, because low level crime leads to high level crime once they see they can get away with it, same as whats happening now, no punishment, so why not go bigger next time, more to gain less to lose.
Talking in the UK here, perhaps you mean Spain?

It would be almost impossible for the authorities to enforce everything; they simply do not have the manpower or time. You could petition the authorities at the next election to double taxation in an attempt to enforce whatever you like, but with such huge taxation it would be doubtful if you could afford anything worth protecting or regulating.
Some laws and regulation are made to assist civil litigation.
