Which is the cheapest way to heat your home: Butane gas portable heaters or electric air con with a heat facility?

Hi Kavanagh.
We have both and to be honest our hot air con is very good, cost is, well okay I suppose considering not collecting bottles and almost straight away heat, with no moisture like the gas fires put out, having said that we have used the gas with windows slightly open which kinder defeats the working of them.
