Basic Healthcare
The Comments |
All...I am back on my favourite topic and look forward to some informed responses (I cannot find anything)
I have read in the Living in Spain Magazine an article form Blevin Franks...it states that you can pay the autonomo of €240 and get BASIC Healthcare....does anyone actually know what this means....what are you actually entitled to if you go down this route..?

Hi Pknott,
Basic healthcare is basically normal service that you would expect here, local GP,hospital visits etc....
I use this sytstem as i pay social security and this entitles you to these benefits.(242€)
In all honesty i didn't know there was anything other than basic healthcare avaliable unless you class private treatment as a step up.
If the Spanish offer Basic healthcare with their great level of service heavens knows what they would class the NHS as!!!!
Regards
Georgia
