Starting a New Life in Spain

Hello Im a new member who is coming out soon to live in Spain. I hope it is all that I am being told about.  A different way of living from the UK! Have I made the right decision?

A big decision, if you had the chance to do it all again would you move back to the UK?

There are so many questions I would like to ask??

Where are you moving to in Spain? I came here 13 years ago and no way would I move back!

Hi Poppet,  Welcome,  I do not normally venture too far from my normal forum but things are getting so negative on here recently, and with good reason I know  !

I have lived here for over nine years and seen BIG changes in that time, I love my adopted country, the Spanish people and the relaxed way of life, on my  limited trips back to the UK after a couple of days I cant wait to get back here again.  Yes there are some unfortunate people that have terrible problems at the moment, however over 760,000 Brits live here and I can assure you that we do not all have problems. The fact is the media is only interested in hightlighting the negative side of life.  Watching the UK news everyday it would seem that the UK has their own fair share of problems to deal with  !!!    I know where me and my fmily would rather be, and it is not the UK .    Good Luck with your move and new life.

Currently we are not living in our villa in Spain, we just visit.
