I have been dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st Century recently and have joined Facebook. It is an interesting site and it is amazing how many old friends I have found on there!! Why not take a look and look me up too while you're there .

How did I know you'd be the fist to answer More . I should think it's right up your street with all the bling, glitter and other odds and sods that are available . Seems to be very addictive, well it is for te Wife anyway .

I had to stop using Facebook. It actually takes up so much time with all the applications that you end up adding on etc.
To be honest I also got a bit bored with it. I had people contact me pretending to be my friends yet when I actually knew them they hardly even said hello. I've kept in touch over time with the people that mattered so I've stopped using Facebook now.
Not for me really.

justin,
Do you mind though if we started a group for eos members or does this impact on what you want to do with this site I have created the group but close it if you wish.

I stopped using Facebook too. I found it just got too much. I keep in touch with the people I want to keep in touch with not someone who works with someone I work withs sister. It all got on my nerves. Maybe I come across as a misery guts but.... Sorry, but just had to stop - much to my daughters disgust, as she lurves Facebook.

I certainly think Facebook & My Space are for the younger generation. I just created accounts as I've just reconciled with my sister's two girls, well I say "girls", they're 31 & 27. They use both & I've learnt such a lot about them in a week from reading their profiles & blogs. (The youngest is a bit of a "creator" shall I call her, mind you !!!!) I find it hard to move around the sites, unlike them. Maybe it's just because it's new. Personally I'd not want all & sundry to know so much of my business.

I love Facebook for the games. Nice little time wasters like scrabble, staries, bowling etc. They're not as involved as the games console things.
At the moment I have 500+ notifications and invites,,, I just ignore them.

Conrad, have you actually set up the group on Facebook? I can't find it! Am I missing something or is it not yet set up? I'd join it - I already have a link to EOS on my Facebook.
Must say, I stay in touch with lots of people on Facebook, and I too dabble on the Scrabble boards!! Probably use email more, though, but not so much fun!! You just have to set your privacy levels how you want them - nobody can see what you're up to so long as you don't want them to!
