If you buy something over £100 with a UK credit card, the consumer credit act will protect you if things go wrong (such as an airline going bust). In some cases, Visa debit cards can also be used to regain paid monies in some circumstances. If you have a Spanish credit card, are there any consumer laws to protect you and how do you invoke the claim? How about when using Visa debit cards?

That surprises me Maria. Consumer law in Spain when it comes to other things, such as warranty, etc, is much more favourable than it is here. I suppose the oral of the story is to keep an English credit card if you move.
