Casa de la Vega, Vera
The Comments |
I tried this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago (to celebrate our business' 2 year birthday), and I have to say that the service and food was excellent. It has quite a traditional Spanish menu, and the quality was very good. The prices aren't bad either.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Vera, Mojacar, Garrucha, Turre etc area.

Next to the Intermarché carpark you have a relatively new complex (about 2.5 years old) - facing Intermarché you have shops like Veratoner, Master Cadena etc and if you go behind these there is a square with a playground and fountain. Casa de la Vega is located in this square. (My office is right next to it, but I am recommending the restaurant as I truly found the service and food excellent).
If you try it, I hope you enjoy it! Come back and let us know what you think.

Been there twice - Oct 08 (after reading the review here) and last week.
I can recommend the food in the evening - fab! Traditional pork dishes are excellent and the steak was melt in the mouth.
The wine is very good too!! It's on our list of places to eat when we are across.
