Hi
Does anyone know what are the rules about long term and pregnant women? I have got this who want to rent my appartment but I have been told if the girl falls pregnant it would be very difficult to get them out if they fall behind with the rent.
I would hate to end up with squatters. I would rather just do holiday rent if this was going to be a problem.
Thanks

No relationship at all between pregnancy and legals of rentals. The tightness of the contract just depend on the rental being for home or for non-home use.

Hi mariadecastro
Thanks for your reply to my post. Not sure what you mean with your answer. I got told if a tenent got pregnant while renting my appartment and she fell behined with the rent, I wouldnt be able to evict her even when her contract was up.
I dont know how true this is

There is no special treatment for pregnant women in the Spanish Rent Act.
