Where does all the Garden Rubbish go?

Hi,

Having just completed on my villa at last ... Hooray!!! (a torturous 5 months!!)

Now the work starts .... Can anyone please advise where I can dispose of the garden rubbish that I need to cut down (garden has got a touch overgrown in the last three or so years the property has been empty!

I will have a substantial amount of spare green foliage!

Are fires allowed?

I presume if i cut it up small enough i can put it in the green communal bins but seems a shame to landfill it?  Is that what happens?

I live in the Calpe area and any advice gratefully received.

We are lucky around our way as the last week of every month a big blue bin appears around the corner just for garden rubbish.
