I have just come back from lunch, had bacon brie and cranberry panini with salad, lovely.  Would never have thought of putting that together in a sandwich.

Hi Maureen. Some of us are just hooked on our carbs though.

John and I went out for menu del dia today.  We had a shared ensalada, then for my starter I had potatoes with egg and merluza in a yummy sauce, whilst John had entremeses.  My main course was calamares and John had bacon with egg and chips.  Finally we both had home-made tarta mocha - also yummy!  We had red wine and la casera with the meal, followed by coffee.  The menu cost 8 euros each, and we now need to go for a long walk as we are very full!

Sue

See you in May Sue & you can show us where ?? Sounds great to us.

I'm just tackling seeded rolls with crunchy peanut butter & choc spread (& at 60, I'm not pregnant. )

Aren't you now Mr & Mrs John Walker ?
