Weather in June in Alicante

Hi Everyone
Just a quickie, my husband and I are having our first ever holiday abroad together after 9 years!!! He's a homebody, doesnt fly and Cornwall has always been enough for him but I have persuaded him and we are getting the ferry to Santander on May 31st and driving down to stay in Almoradi nr alicante for a week.
My question is what is the weather like in early June, I have promised him blue skies and a suntan and I am just wondering if we should have come a month later to more or less guarantee that.
Just wondered if you can tell me if I should be ok with my promises!!!!
thank you very much

thankyou, feel better now, as long as it's warm dont even mind the odd shower!
didnt expect it to be in the 25's tho so that's definitely a bonus.

Hi Sue
Both Patpur & I have homes in that area. Pat owns in Almoradi, we own around 10 mins away (Guardamar).
We were there up till July 2nd last year & it was unbelievably hot during our last week! I think last year was a lot hotter than expected. So, I think you could say you're going to be suntanned & happy.
Pat & I went on a day trip to Valencia towards end of June & it was around 36C, wasn't it, Pat. Whew !

June is such a lovely month . We went to the CDS in June and the weather was better than August - better days , more sunshine , no clouds in the sky for the whole period , cooler nights - it was bliss, was so upset when we came home. And of course not too many school children, quieter, cheaper, can park your car , restautants not full. Best month of the year in my estimjation . Wish I was going back in June this year
Have a great holiday .
