Expensive car hire this year!!!

The cars we have hired this year, so far have all been reasonably priced. Must have got in at the right time . I've just been looking at prices for October though, and they seem to be quite high. There are only 2 persons, so I am looking at the smaller vehicles and it is for 6 days. The cheapest I have found so far is €109. Is this me being tight or is it expensive? They all seem to be around that mark, although one of them is offered on a full/ full basis. I have looked at most of the sites mentioned in other threads on the frum, but prefer to stick with companies that allow payment on arrival.

Hi Markfish,

The answer to that one is easy, 6 day car hire is based on a daily rate. If you book for a week and return it a day early it will be cheaper, we have done it several times without a problem.

Hi Sue. Just tried that one and the price is either the same or more . Interesting idea though and i'll remember to check next time i'm booking
